AOS Dance School
AOS Dance School is focused on four (4) core genre’s as individual arts forms and its connectivity to each other that builds strong fundamentals for an educated and professional dancer.

Class Descriptions are listed below:
BALLET SLAY ( Ballet Fundamentals) – Dancers will learn the basics foundation of the ballet dance scene that will dive into a contemporary twist of the traditional Cechetti technique. Learning the history of Ballet while being introduced to the pioneers who have helped pave the way and make a difference in the Ballet Community. References include George Balanchine, Misty Copeland, and Mikhail Baryshnikov.
KEEP IT JAZZY (Classic & Contemporary) – Dancers will learn all about that Jazz, from the Broadway ensembles to music videos. Jazz steps and styles originate from the dancing of African Americans. Get ready to bring your theatrical side of dance into their attitudes; shaping young performers into future stars.
CONTEMPORARY HIP HOP (Blending Urban Styles & Conditioning) – A style of street dance brought about from the hip hop culture which includes but not limited to breaking, wacking and krumping. Inspired by 90’s rap moving into this generation’s definition of hip hop, this class will define true artistry in whichever form the student chooses. This class will not only be targeted to the basics on street hip-hop, but will also include what this generation of performers have collectively formed into a blend of contemporary hip-hop.
ART OF STEPPING ( Step) – What is referred to as “AOS Techniques 101”. Portion of the curriculum that instructs participants on the fundamentals of Step Dance (i.e. beats, counts, sounds) and how alpha & numeric codes will play a role. Participants will learn crucial body positioning, hand movements, etc. that are required of the program.
